Pendo CEO Todd Olson Named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Award Finalist in the Southeast

Published May 3, 2018

It’s been an exciting week at Pendo. First, we watched CEO Todd Olson on CNBC yesterday during the closing bell ceremony at NASDAQ, which he attended as part of the Cloud NY Summit taking place today in New York City.

We also received word that Todd is a finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Southeast. The application and interview process for this award is quite extensive. We’re honored that Todd was selected, especially among a mix of local and regional entrepreneurs we admire.

Here’s the text of today’s news release on the award:

EY today announced that Todd Olson, co-founder and CEO of Pendo, is a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Award in the Southeast. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Todd was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 28, 2018 at Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre in Atlanta, GA.

“I am humbled and honored to be considered for such a prestigious honor, but the credit really goes to our loyal customers and the team here at Pendo,” Olson said. “Our culture is critical to our success, and we have a team of people determined to serve customers well and to do what it takes to continue our incredible growth trajectory.”

Inspired to help software companies make more informed product decisions, Olson, a three-time entrepreneur and former product manager wrangled three co-founders to start Pendo in 2013. Today, the company’s product cloud helps technology product teams in more than 500 companies deliver software users love. Pendo has raised $56 million in venture capital and is backed by Battery Ventures, Spark Capital and Meritech Capital Partners. It employs 180 people in offices in Raleigh, New York, San Francisco and Yakum, Israel.

Now in its 32nd year, the Entrepreneur of the Year program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries throughout the world.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 17, 2018. The awards are the culminating event of the Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
